B2B Online Marketing grows as B2B Print Ads Decline

Revenues for B2B print ads dropped about 24% during 2009, from $9.9 bill during 2008 to $7.5 billion in the following year, according recent data
reports out. The Business Information Network, which is a firm that tracks B2B publishing and marketing, also noted that B2B print publications that
were the most effected were those covering the the transportation industry.
Erik Sass says "Like these other media, B2B publications showed
some improvement toward the end of 2009 at least in relative terms, with a 25.8 percent decline in ad pages in the fourth quarter versus a 30.5
percent drop in the third quarter,"
A recent outsell study says that funds devoted by B2B marketing campaigns to social networks will
increase by more than 43.3 percent in 2010 while overall spending remains level.
