Heyzap, the online business start-up that offers game developers a platform to distribute their social games outside of the social network channel while still retaining social functions and features is adding support for HTML5 games.

Up until now HeyZap has focused predominantly on flash games and in the current market Flash based games make up the vast majority, but if you look to the not too distant future the popularity of HTML5 games is set to soar with the ever increasing number of ipads and iphones (that do not support flash) being sold. HeyZap are looking to stay ahead of the game by adding HTML5 to their arsenal.

The HTML5 feature suite from Heyzap includes the ability to share in-game achievements through social networks like twitter, approval and authentication of users through Facebook and payments through Credit cards and Paypal.
