Paypal has partnered with Facebook to offer it as a payment option for advertisers and marketers on facebook. Peter Thiel actually sits on the company board of facebook and has invested $500,000 back in 2004 giving facebook its first investment.

Amazon have reported a leap in Profits of 71% in the last quarter of 2009. With one of the biggest on-line spends over the Christmas season ever seen. Jeff Bezos the Founder and chief executive of Amazon thinks that some of this success is due to the Kindle's Popularity which is Amazons flag ship ebook reader.
